after searching around and reading comments everywhere, it seems almost no one can figure out what this device does. . I am very good with technology and I am pretty sure i know what this does but still have MANY questions. If the company invest money into producing a product, you would think they would have a description that is detailed, also maybe pictures or video demonstrating it. Profit takes a little more effort than just having a product. Please update your description and

Is the manual paper or online?
Pros:
Can connect to usb port and start using wifi in minutes.
Cons:
That the manual is in chinese from the previeus review. Needs to know how to translate from Chinese to English or needs English manual.

PROs: I love that I can go to a hotel and just plug into their LAN if they don't have WIFI and then plug the USB into my USB power source and then I have instant WIFI in my room. CONs: There is no security setup on it since I cannot read the manual. The manual is in Chinese only. I was hoping to connect via the IP address, but I could not figure it out. It says it can use WEP security, but I'd think that I'd need to connect to the device somehow to setup my personal security.

How does this work? Will it provide me with wifi service for my computer or tablet if I am not in an area where I can get free wifi? What I mean is can I plug this into my phone do I can be provided with wifi?

Please plug an Ethernet or LAN cable to this adapter, and plug the other end to a USB power source like a laptop, etc. Then you can enjoy Wi-Fi, for instance, in your house, in a hotel room, etc.
