My cigarette lighter socket is in a kinda awkward spot in my car, so this has been really a great purchase. The cable length allows me to put it in the center console without a problem -- so I can even hide everything that is plugged into it... The extra USB charging port is great...works like it's supposed to and I'm very happy with it.

i ordered two. on both of them the mail cigarette lighter plug did not work and i had to replace them. after that they seemed ok.

What a great item, you can use this in all apps, if you forget the charger just plug it into the USB port. You can use it for anything that plugs into the cars 12 volt slot from a radar detector to a laptop and it is a bargain at this price, you won't find one any cheaper in price.

You can use it for any 12 volt app. and if you forget the charging part of your cell phone just plug it into the USB port.
Cons:
It's a little big but it does a lot and don't think you could make it any smaller.

does not work at all. "on" light doesn't come on. Tried several items (GPS, Rader detector, cellphone)-don't work in this item. They all work fine in the lighter socket when inserted individually.
Tried it in other vehicles, to no avail.
Paid $9'99 and shipping. Wouild cost over $3.00 to ship back, and rtefund is for $9.99 only, and not the shipping charge I paid initially.
If sent back I would onl get about $3.00 net of the price I paid ($9.99 plus shipping), so I'm stuck with it.
Have bought many itens from cellphoneshop.com in the past several years, and all others were fine.
This one is a bust. Stll like the company, but disappointed with the item.

Could not get the plug to stay in the power outlet in the vehicle, it kept popping out. While it was in, the usb jack did not work and only certain plugs were long enough to work in the lighter jack. I dont normally comment on negitaves of a product, but this time I felt compelled to.
