I have a few of these and have bought a few more to scatter among my various out-of-town offices so I don't have to carry one with me. The unit is compact and works well. One of mine only was with us for 8 months, unfortunately, so it doesn't hurt to order one or two extras, especially at the price.
Pros:
Compact.
Does what it is supposed to do.
Bargain!
Cons:
Cord could be longer.
One of mine only lasted 8 months.

Charges phone but prevents touch screen from working

Both the charger that came with the Droid 4 and my old Blackberry charger allow the touchscreen to function properly when the Droid is being charged. This charger requires disconnecting the phone before the phone can be used.
Pros:
Seems to charge the phone OK
Cons:
Can't use the phone when charging without disconnecting. Hopefully, this charger is not damaging either the phone or its battery.
