I am very impressed and pleased with this solar charger. I was looking for something for a present for someone who rides the bus and often ends up with a dead phone, not being able to look up bus routes and times. This is perfect as it can be charged by the light of the sun OR lamp light. Great for camping (charge a camera or phone) or anywhere you might not have a hardwire electrical source. - pmaddams
The Description was a lie. It was suppose to be a Christmas Present and the person did not even use it, because his pad did have the right endings to charge it. I would not recommend it. IT also came soooooooo late . Shipping was horrible - Livia

At this point I haven't had much luck with the unit as of yet. It doesn't seem to have enough power to charge my phone ir to even bring it back to life, I'm still playing with it but at thsi point I am not at all impressed with it. - Mark M

This charger is very easy to use once you figure out the right arrangement of adapters! I have found though that the iPhone doesn't seem to recognize the charger too well (this is an issue with the iPhone not necessarily the charger). This works well for most any usb rechargable device (phone, camera, player, whatever). - Cowboy

It looked pretty cool. However it doesn't do the thigs as described. I tried charging my phone bu instead it looked like it was stealing power from my phone. I was unable to charge a speak device that recharges with USB. - ChrTech

charge is pretty good only problem i have is the universal plug that comes with the charger had a short had to buy a mini usb to micro usb to replace works great now. - almightyone718

Easy to use, would be nice to have a way for attaching it to your person. As in (clothing, back pack, etc), to keep it toward the sun. Might require a longer cable. - kr
Great concept... but only works sporadically for me and the 3 people to whom I gave them as gifts. Wouldn't always charge my Motorola or MP3s and its adapter didn't fit my Nokia. Possibly some questions would have been answered WITH A GOOD SET OF INSTRUCTIONS, which it does not have. For [$] I guess it's worth a try. - CJinCNJ

I purchased this after we had a power outage for 5 days with cold nasty weather! Had to charge phone from my car! I am happy with this item. I can charge my phone, ipod or any device with this any time if I don't have access to a power source. I have not tested it with indoor lighting. I purchased more for my children and family. It is compact and easy to use. The only thing I wish it had was a protective case for the charger and attachments so it could be carried in a purse or backpack. The box it comes in is nice, but bulky to carry along. - Mom of 5
