Whats does this do? Because it has a micro usb male for the phone I assume and has a female for what? I figured it would have an hdmi at the end

I noticed the other adapters have a side micro USB port for power. SInce it is using up the only micro usb on the phone does the hdmi from the tv provide power?

Samsung Galazxy lll S uses a non-standard (9 pin) micro usb plug for MHL.
1. I assume from the picture with "S lll" means this is made specifically for this phone. Is this correct?
2.Does this need a second adapter for HDMI before the TV set?
