Not worth the effort

This didn't work upon arrival. It took months for me to get a replacement and I had to ship the original back on my dime. Corresponding with customer service was a joke...they expected me to keep every email I ever sent and had to include them all in each email. Then I had to print off all the emails and send them back with the defective device. Would never buy from them again.

Tip for making it better

I bought this after looking at several models and decided they all did the same thing so why not go with the
most reasonable since it had good reviews. I have three cars, one with an audio jack input. The FM transmitter worked OK on 2 cars and not very well on one. Being an engineer I thought if I could get the transmitter closer to my winshield where the antennae is it might work better so I got an extender to lenghten the cord to the IPAD.
Wow, what a difference! now it works great in all 3 cars (I chose 102.7Mhz in Bay Area). It doesn't sound quite as good as the direct audio input but much better than I had expected so I plan to buy another so I have it both cars without the audio input

The power cord has a short in it and it's the 3rd one that this has happend to. This one lasted 3 days. No more.

garbage. it picks noise from the speakers. lots of echo and if you are not in a call it switches to fm. i have ot crank the volume to the max. garbage

A good little FM transmitter

This guy is a very decent fm transmitter. As with all of them, you gotta find a nice clean station but when you do it works well. The only pain is that it needs to be plugged into the 12v for it to work

Works as specified: full range transmitter for playing 3.5mm jack to car radio. plugs into lighter power

Does make good blocking-out of outside stations and interference: (selectivity)
Small, easy to use, no battery needed
MOST important: is able to tune the whole FM band to find a spot without a station (can be tricky...)
Cons:
I do have to turn the car radio volume WAY up just to hear the audio (with source at full volume and LOUD in earbuds), which makes for Slightly less quality, but not really that bad.

ibought this to replace another type that was failing. i really like it - clear, easy to use. unfortunately, it died after only a week or so, but Cellphone shop replaced it with another one. i am enjoying it and plan to get another for my wife's car.

I purchased this to use on my Goldwing motor cycle,it does work but the volume level to the radio is so low you can't hear it while ridding,I use a cheap cassette to earphone jack adapter and you can at least hear the mp3's.
I haven't spent much time trying to relocate it to improve it,others have apparently had good luck.

Exceptionally good for this price

I had a cheaper version of this product for a couple of years, and it would drop out of the tuned station after a few minutes of use each time. I purchased this unit, and it works like a charm. I'd say it's as good as the versions costing up to $80. I'm thrilled!

The transmitter works pretty well getting my music playing to my speakers in my Jeep from my Samsung Galaxy Nexus. There is some static and background noise, but that may be from my stereo.

Cons:
The only dislike that I have is that this product seems to be cheaply made but the price and the ability to connect to stereo station makes up the difference.

This fm transmitter works but the sound quality isn't
that good. Sometimes there is lots of static noise in the
background even though the fm station it's set on is a good clear
one. A friend had one of a different brand and it was crystal clear
and sounded great. Hers also allowed her to charge her phone at
same time while playing her music. Although i wasn't satisfied with
mine cellphoneshop customer service was extremely friendly and
helpful in resolving my problem.
