Works great in low light, not great in sunlight. I discovered the laser is i fantastic cat toy!

Great little light

Heck you can't even get the batteries that go in this thing for the price. (It uses three AG13 batteries.) It's a handy little light that you can clip onto anything. One button turns the red laser on. (Push and hold.) The other button cycles through a blue-ish LED light, then a white LED light, then turns off.
The only minor quibble is with the red laser: The chrome cap seems to interfere with the laser so you get a nice sharp point of light, with a "halo" of reflections surrounding half of it. The size of those reflections increases with distance so this wouldn't make a great laser pointer for presentations etc. It's distracting.
