Does this need to be connected to another wifi source or is it it's own independent wifi router that u can connect multiple devices to?

Please note that you have to connect it with a 3G network or LAN or WAN network to share the network to your Wi-Fi enabled devices.

Does it have to be a specific provider? Can I avail a provider outside the country and use the regular SIM card of their service which is a gsm sim?

I am computer UN ? Per last Queston can I use the sim card from my flip phone (NOT A SMART PHONE) to make it work. Do you have to buy a data plan? I just want to use a tablet at my farm a few hours a week.. Will this give me that service without having to sell my soul to some service provider: AT Tor Verizon ?
