Very disappointed since I need this for a road trip to Coachella music festival!!!!! VERY disappointed!!!!! Rather get a refund and just pay the full $40 at Apple. Cons:A little slow with charging but that is the same with any adapter.I would recommend this item to a friend.If I could give it a 0, I would.By April from Washington state on March 11, 2013 I have an iPod 7th generation and needed an adapter to use with my 30-pin car charger/FM transmitter. I plugged this adapter in to my iPod and knew immediately that something was wrong with the fit. It got stuck in my iPod, taking me a good 1 or 2 minutes to gently wiggly it free (in order to keep from damaging my iPod). As I was wiggling it free, the cover broke off of the interior wiring, exposing wires, etc.So basically, this device fell apart immediately. Terribly manufactured. A waste of time and money.
